THE CHALLENGE

We defined the question

At Cegeka the business line Business Solutions uses a specific project methodology (SureValue) to guide the implementation of customer projects. Until recently, this methodology was taught exclusively in classroom settings to key roles within this methodology. While in-person training allowed for valuable interaction and discussion, the theoretical part of the course wasn’t always aligned with the learners’ pace or prior knowledge. The format also posed limitations in terms of scalability and accessibility, particularly for new hires and affiliated companies.

The challenge? Designing a digital learning solution that effectively teaches the foundational concepts of the SureValue methodology in a scalable, maintainable,and engaging way, while preserving the flexibility needed for a blended learning approach.

THE SOLUTION

We designed the answer

Arboth developed a series of e-learning modules that deliver the theoretical foundation of the SureValue methodology through an interactive and structured digital experience. These modules are part of a blended program, where the practical, hands-on portion of the training continues to take place in person.

The e-learnings were designed with a modular structure, allowing learners to progress through them in a recommended, but not mandatory, sequence. This flexibility accommodates varying roles, backgrounds, and levels of experience. We began by creating a conceptual module that outlines the core principles and structure of the methodology, followed by individual modules covering each of the five SureValue phases.

We developed the components

In line with Cegeka’s brand guidelines and technical requirements, the e-learning modules were developed using our proven instructional design approach:

• Modular structure: standalonemodules for each SureValue phase, accessible at different entry points.
• Adaptive learning: exercises and reflection questions tailored to reinforce understanding.
• Storytelling: recurring avatars (e.g. project manager, developer, client) guide the learner through realistic scenarios.
• Interactivity: learners are prompted to think before receiving feedback, reinforcing key takeaways.
• Accessibility: English-language voice-overs (initially using maintainable synthetic voices) and subtitles.
• Visual clarity: infographics, process maps, and animations simplify complex concepts.

The solution was built on our aPron methodology, with a clear analysis, design, and production cycle. This allowed us to quickly create a reusable template to ensure consistency across all modules and streamline the production process.

ROLLOUT

We deployed the solution

The digital learning program was rolled out in phases. We started with the conceptual module, which now serves as a foundation for the entire learning journey. Based on that experience, we proceeded with the development of five additional modules, each covering a different phase of the SureValue methodology.

The modules are hosted in Cegeka’s LMS, but were also designed for standalone use by affiliated companies without LMS access. Thanks to the modular setup and maintainable structure, the e-learnings can be easily updated as the methodology evolves.
